Motion in 2D

DoNow: An airplane is attempting to land on a runway with a constant speed of 25 kph and is required to approach in-line with the runway. There is a 10 kph crosswind moving due east. What angle or direction should the plane approach the runway? (notes)

AIM: I can explain how to collect data that describes and predicts the motion of an accelerating object using equations and graphs. I can describe the independence of horizontal and vertical motion and at least one reason that justifies the independent relationship.
